Abstract
Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO₂) contribute to climate change by trapping heat in Earth's atmosphere. As emissions increase, temperatures rise and extreme weather events become more common. These environmental changes can damage infrastructure, reduce worker productivity, disrupt supply chains, and affect agricultural output. This research investigates how increasing greenhouse gas emissions may influence economic growth in the United States by examining their relationship with GDP, productivity, and climate related costs.
