Session 1: Discovery of BS/MD Aspirant
ACTION PLAN: Assessment tests, motivational interviewing to gather strengths and weaknesses of student
OUTCOME: Discover individual learning type, create a plan for Executive Functioning Strengths and Weaknesses.
 
Session 2: Your Journey Begins – Overview of Medical Career and Competitive Landscape
ACTION PLAN: Understanding of Medical career and paths. Early Acceptance Medical Programs or EAMPs, or BS/MD programs. Perfect grades and test scores are not enough for acceptance. Additional factors will be taught in this course!
OUTCOME: Clarity of medical programs available after high school.

 
Session 3: How to become a competitive candidate for BS/MD - Part 1
ACTION PLAN: Create an actionable plan for - Timelines, Graduation Requirements, map courses, and for all FOUR years.
 
OUTCOME: Clear Roadmap for becoming a competitive candidate.

 
Session 4: How to become a competitive candidate for BS/MD - Part 2
ACTION PLAN: Create a plan for SAT/ACT/PSAT. The session teaches strategies and techniques for taking the test and creating a SMART GOAL. In-depth insight into SAT and ACT exams.
OUTCOME: Excelling in Standardized Tests

 
Session 5: Mastering Resume & Cover Letter
ACTION PLAN: Stellar resume and cover letter will be created by students that are critical to showcasing their talent in the application.
OUTCOME: Creation of a Resume highlighting the student's achievements and talent.

 
Session 6: Creating "Wow Factor" in Extracurricular Activities for BS/MD Program
ACTION PLAN: Create a plan that highlights students' interest in health care, and leadership or reflects activities that create impact. Plan activities concentrating on the medical or science field.
OUTCOME: Create an exceptional Activities list that shows maturity and passion.

 
Session 7: Volunteering and Strategic Planning for Medical Field
ACTION PLAN: Exploring volunteering opportunities that align with Medical Field. Students will apply for volunteering opportunities in areas near to home.
OUTCOME: Creation of a plan with timelines, capture volunteering hours and lessons on reaching out for opportunities.
 
Session 8: Study Skills for scoring exceptionally in Exams and Tests
Action Plan: Different methods of studying and retaining concepts in subjects
Outcome: Be able to create a study plan and implement it for better grades in exams and tests.
 
Session 9: Pursuing Honors, Awards, and Leadership
ACTION PLAN: Discover how to position yourself as a future leader in medicine.
OUTCOME: Learn to pursue honors, awards, and leadership opportunities that enhance your profile. Map out for all 4 years.

 
Session 10: Final Project - Role Play as Admissions Officer for BS/MD Program
ACTION PLAN: Understand indepth as to how Admissions Officers review college applcaitions and review real applications.
OUTCOME: Create a College Profile no college can refuse!
